Grisons, Graubünden, Grigioni, Grischun. A land of contrasts squeezed between German and Latin worlds, and home to Rumansch language which is spoken by only a few thousand people. The largest and easternmost canton of Switzerland lives at a laid-back pace but boasts some of the fanciest resorts of the country. Inbetween high seasons, November is a quiet time where traditions seem more visible.
